A Lesser Flamingo preens its feathers after feeding in the shallow waters at the edge of Walvis Bay. The bay is home to many birds, particularly flamingos and pelicans. Over 100,000 birds have been counted on the lagoon, with another 200,000 migratory birds visiting annually.
