Australia's unique native wildlife fascinates people the world over, and once you've been close to these wonderful creatures you understand wny. From the largest whales to the smallest insects, they are visually captivating and behaviourally intriguing. Most also seem innately comic, which seems to align with the Australian persona!

 

Sadly, many species are on the brink of extinction thanks to urban expansion, introduced species like cats and rabbits, and agricultural impact on habitats.
