This image was taken on an early morning helicopter flight over Menindee Lakes and the surrounding country. It is actually a field of melons with a travelling irrigator moving across the diagonal, the soil on one side dry and on the other side wet. As soon as I looked down and saw it, I was struck by the symmetry and colour tones.
